Work Placement Requirements

Students will require a suitable UK-Based Work Placement (Excluding Northern Ireland) to complete this course. This could be a full time or part time position and it can be through employment or through voluntary work for a set number of days per week. It is recommended that students have the placement for the duration of their studies.

The placement needs to be sufficient to enable students to gather the required workplace evidence for each of the course units detailed below, and the work will need to be signed off by an appropriate person (Manager or Supervisor) within the organisation through witness testimonies. The workplace supervisor will need a relevant qualification at a higher level than the course being studied in order to be able to assess the learners' competence. Students will also need to arrange remote and in-person observations with the course assessment team.

Course Format & Delivery

You will receive access to the course materials through an online portal for a 12-month period. Students can use the portal for accessing their course materials, submitting assignments and to log tutor questions.
